Headroom for Navidrome
A Navidrome player with the sound controls built in.
Headroom connects straight to Navidrome and adds the things most Subsonic clients skip: a parametric EQ, AutoEQ headphone profiles, gapless playback, and crossfade.
How it works
Navidrome keeps the library. Headroom does the playback.
Browse, search, queue, and download over the Subsonic API. No Headroom account and no relay.
AutoEQ profiles
Start from the profile for your headphones, then adjust.
Gapless and crossfade
True gapless for albums that need it, or a crossfade anywhere from 1 to 12 seconds.
Offline listening
Download for the commute. It plays in airplane mode.
Compatibility note
Navidrome is the server I test against most.
Other OpenSubsonic servers use the same API, but they don't all behave the same. If you run Airsonic, Gonic, Funkwhale, Nextcloud Music, or something else compatible, I'd like to hear how it goes.
