How it works
Plex serves the files. The phone does the rest.
Headroom talks to your Plex server for the library and the streams. EQ and crossfade run on the phone, and nothing goes through a Headroom server.
Queue and seek
Queue up tracks, skip around, and seek. Metadata and artwork stay in step.
Offline
Download albums, go offline, and play. Remove them when you're done.
Private diagnostics
Send a report from the app without exposing your server address, account, or token.
Beta status
Plex is the newest of the integrations.
It works, but it has had less testing than Jellyfin and Navidrome. What I most want reports on: direct play versus transcoding, token refresh after a long idle, star ratings, and offline playback.
